Regulatory & Compliance in Turkey

How long does the regulatory approval process take in Turkey?

The standard timeline for clinical trial approval by the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK – part of Ministry of Health) and Ethics Committees generally ranges from 3-4 months following a complete submission. Elevate CRO’s dedicated study start-up team specializes in navigating TİTCK protocols to minimize queries and expedite approval timelines.

How do you ensure data privacy and compliance?

Data protection is a critical priority. All clinical trial data managed by Elevate CRO complies strictly with both global ICH-GCP guidelines and local Turkish data protection laws under KVKK (the Turkish equivalent of GDPR). We establish strict data processing agreements and monitoring systems to guarantee seamless compliance for international sponsors. Elevate CRO is also registered on VERBIS – a state managed Turkish registry where data controllers must report their personal data processing activities to comply with KVKK. Elevate CRO is also ISO-9001:2015 certified, with a QMS covering all aspects of data privacy and compliance.

We have a nationwide site coordination and monitoring network. While headquartered in Ankara, our team operates in all provinces: public, private and university hospitals and Phase I research centers throughout Türkiye.

Navigating local logistics can be complex. Elevate CRO provides specialized support for:
